Bangladesh Cricket Board on Wednesday announced they have formed a three-member special committee to assess Bangladesh team’s performance in the just concluded ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

BCB director Enayet Hossain Siraj will act as the convener of the committee while Mahbubul Anam and Akram Khan will be the other members of the committee that will look into the performance of the Bangladesh team – the first team to get knocked out of the World Cup.

“The committee’s objective is to scrutinize the factors contributing to the team’s underperformance in the tournament and it will subsequently present its findings to the Board,” BCB said in a statement on Wednesday.

BCB, however, did not mention any deadline to present their findings.
